Houston Druze Center vision

"A place to house the exhibit — and a place to call home."

Houston Druze Center Fund

Built since 2008.
Closer every day.

In 2008, after the debut of our Heritage Exhibit at the Thanksgiving Convention, our community dreamed of a permanent Houston home. Three conventions and a community of givers later, that dream is becoming real.

"No pledge is too small to make a difference."

We have identified 2.5 acres that fit our community's needs — rectangular, accessible, ready to build on. We're raising the final stretch to close.

Heritage

Druze in America. Houston in our hearts.

Our roots stretch back generations. Our Houston chapter is the latest chapter of a much longer story.

Origins

The Druze faith

A monotheistic tradition rooted in the Middle East, known for its emphasis on wisdom, tolerance, and the unity of all people. Our community carries these values into every new city we call home.

2008

The Heritage Exhibit & The Vision

The debut of the Heritage Exhibit at the Thanksgiving Convention in Houston planted a seed: a permanent place to house our history. The Houston Druze Center dream began.

2012 · 2017

Two more conventions

Houston hosted the Thanksgiving Convention twice more, with profits and pledges fueling the Center Fund past $179,000.
